About Us
Defending the Biblical Roots of Christianity exists to help the body of Christ understand and address false teachings, such as those that claim Christians are required to keep the Old Covenant laws. Our mission is to systematically break down teachings that challenge the sufficiency of Christ (2 Cor. 10:5), promote biblical literacy (Prov. 7:2), and lift high the beautiful Gospel of Jesus. Our goal is to contribute to the intellectual and theological aspects of making disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19–20) and promote freedom from spiritual bondage (Gal. 5:1) while emphasizing unity in the body of Christ (John 13:35).
This ministry was founded by Professor R. L. Solberg, who has been pursuing theology, apologetics, and philosophy formally and informally for over two decades. He studied at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Williamson College, where he is now an adjunct professor of theology. He also studied Biblical Hebrew through the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a Ph.D. student of Bible Exposition at Liberty University. Prof. Solberg strives to communicate on complex topics with clarity and grace.
