Our Theological Position

At The Biblical Roots Ministries, we are committed to the truth of historic, biblical Christianity—the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3). Our teaching is grounded in the authority of Scripture and focused on the essential doctrines shared across orthodox Christian traditions. Our goal is to teach what all faithful Christians have always believed, not what divides them.

What We Affirm

We affirm the core beliefs of “mere Christianity,” including:

  • The authority, inspiration, and sufficiency of the Bible
  • The Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • The full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ
  • His substitutionary death and bodily resurrection
  • Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone
  • The universal Church as the Body of Christ, called to make disciples
  • The reality of final judgment and eternal life

These foundational truths unite faithful believers across denominations and form the basis of all our teaching and apologetics work.

Our Background

While our founder comes from a Lutheran tradition, Biblical Roots Ministries is not a denominational ministry. Our goal is not to promote any one tradition, but to serve the broader Body of Christ by focusing on shared essentials and a high view of Scripture.

How We Handle Doctrinal Differences

We recognize and respect the rich diversity within the Christian Church. When issues arise that are understood differently among faithful believers (e.g., sacraments, end times, church governance), we:

  • acknowledge that faithful Christians hold differing views,
  • focus on biblical principles and shared convictions, and
  • avoid taking positions on secondary issues not central to the Gospel.

We do this not out of compromise, but out of a commitment to unity.

In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty;
in falsehoods, veracity; in all things, charity.

Our Commitment to the Local Church

Our work is intended to support—not replace—the discipleship mission of the local church. We partner with churches by providing Bible-based resources, apologetics training, and events that build up the faith of their members and equip them to stand firm in truth.
